The Arts In term 2 our syndicate ran an arts rotation. We feel that this promotes in depth learning of the arts and values the strengths of our team. Here is an example of what some Kotare 2 students were able to perform to an audience of their peers in just 2 short dance sessions with the talented Miss Epsom! Mrs Christie kept an eye out for budding thespians in her drama lessons, Miss Shields was sharing the inspiring sounds of Vivaldi in her music sessions & Mr Fletcher was getting the students moving in some Tikanga Maori sessions.
*Syndicate Fitness* Fitness is an integral part of our routine. This term we are enjoying a challenging fitness regime involving the students in a variety of physical tasks to strengthen, co-ordinate and get the heart pumping. Some students are also enjoying a leadership role in modelling these activities to their peers. *Way To Go KOTARE!!!*
*Singing Sensations* In week 5 Kotare 2 & 3 took out the school assembly singing, chosen as the best singing classes in the school! What a fabulous effort!
